I made this scale pinball machine for my initial project in my final year of college (which I have just completed with another final project

) And it was the first project out my four years of college that I was actually proud of.

YAY! It was also the first project I got an 'A' grade for, and it was such a tough project, so it made me happy.

The only limit we were given at the beginning was that the model had to fit inside a 1ft x 1ft box. I originally wanted to make an arcade machine but I was told to do something more complicated. So I made a pinball machine.

It was an 8 week project that I basically didn't sleep for or eat much. XD I think I averaged 3hrs at most. And lost half a stone in weight.

Mostly because there was a huge delay on the use of the laser cutting machine, which basically gave me about 3 weeks to make the entire model. But I got there!!

The shell and some details inside are laser cut, after being drawn in AutoCAD. The legs and money slot are handmade, as are the tiny animals inside (less than a cm each). All of the decals were made in Photoshop by me, as there were no images big enough or the right angle to use. The €1 coin (approx. 2.4cm diameter) is to show the scale. The whole thing is 27cm tall.
